Ice Bins in the Past . . .
The weakest part of most ice systems has been the ice bin and its unloading system. Bins did not have smooth inside walls. Bins were not sanitary nor easily cleaned. Since ice freezes, fuses, arcs, bridges and does everything but flow, and since force was required to move it, bins were hit with mallets in an attempt to unload htem. This severely damaged the Bin Walls in the process. The most beautiful cubes were beat up and crushed getting them out of the bin.
WEAVER's Ice Cube Silo
Now Offers . . .
A clean, sanitary Ice Silo built with stainless steel. The inside of the Silo Wall is smooth. The bottom of the Ice Silo diverges outward to help prevent bridging. Weaver's "Heavy Duty" Stainless Steel Unloaders, installed in the bottom of the Ice Silo replaces mallets.

Weaver's 280 Silo Unloader
Weaver's Silo Unloaders are "gentle as a lamb," but tougher than ice, unloading ice cubes at the touch of a button! Beautiful ice cubes are kept looking beautiful. By stacking ice "up" in a Weaver Ice Silo instead of "out," valuable floor space is saved for other operations.
