Weaver Smooth Wall Silos are Specially
Designed for Bottom Reclaiming

1. Smooth walls are important for helping to eliminate bridging of materials in bottom unloading silos.
2. Interior silo walls are smooth because Weaver's unique, special design locates all fasteners on the outside of the silo.
3. Weaver's smooth wall design eliminates all bolt heads, corrugations, and wall sheet offsets on inside walls which are large contributors to bridging problems.
4. Flange and angle silo wall construction which creates a smooth interior wall also provides tight joints while permitting normal expansion and contraction from radical ambient temperature changes and when absorbing foreign vibrations.
5. Smooth walls are clean and eliminate product contamination when silo is used for different materials.

Weaver's bolted steel silos
are versatile.

1. As your operation grows, silo capacity can grow by adding more rings.
2. If your operation moves to another location, your silo can be moved with you.
3. *Stainless or cold-rolled steel (optional)
4. **Roof access with bird cage (optional).

Weaver's Silo Standard Components:

1. Silo panels are built with hot-rolled steel.
2. Top of bolted steel reclaim floor is smooth for good material flow. All fasteners and structural supports for reclaim floor are located under the reclaim floor.
3. Double roof railing around perimeter of roof.
4. Access ladder with safety cage and offset platforms.
5. Explosion venting.

Weaver's "Knee Wall" for Bottom Reclaiming Silos:

1. Knee wall is located immediately above silo reclaim floor.
2. Allows material in silo to diverge outward and help prevent bridging.
3. Sweep auger of Weaver's silo reclaimer "undercuts" all material in the silo eliminating flow channels and material columns that in the past caused bridging problems.

Smooth Wall Silo Roof:

1. Smooth roof design eliminates pockets on the roof that trap material thus avoiding coating deterioration, staining, and rusting problems.
2. Service men can walk on top of 15° "sloped" roof without tripping over any roof support ribs.
3. Rain shield around perimeter of roof eliminates almost all staining and discoloration of silo wall.

Weaver Silo Conical Hopper:

1. Slope of Conical Hopper (45° or 60°) is smooth which promotes good flow of material and helps prevent bridging.
2. All Conical Hopper support members and fasteners are located on the underside of the hopper.
3. Conical Hopper is attached to silo wall with our unique "Sandwich" design; thus all fasteners are located outside the silo.
4. Weaver's Conical Hopper Reclaimer eliminates most bridging problems and creates a dependable flow of material for your operation.
